This head is good for the money and it is loud but, there are Mesa\Boogie heads for much less and they sound so much clearer and more powerful. If you like this head try a single, double, or Triple Rectifier they kick butt

Mesa amps wont comapare to this go to GC and test drive them.
Dont knock it till you try it.
you wont beleive the tone and power of this.
This is the amp that Crate made that really did serve Mesa, Marshall, and Peavey some smack
